Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to advance our cloud-based solutions and open-source integrations. You will contribute to core architecture, automate cloud resources, and help scale systems across AWS with Linux foundations.

The role requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container tools, and CI/CD in a hybrid work environment, including two days per week at our San Antonio office. A security-clearance path may apply.

Qualifications

• OS deployment and orchestration (kickstart, ansible, puppet, etc)
• Deploying and managing Kubernetes (or vendor flavor)
• Container build tooling and Kubernetes automation tools (e.g. Helm, Kustomize, Flux CD)
• Programming in Python or Go
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networks, security, and shell scripting
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Hybrid work with 2 days/week in San Antonio office

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core architecture for software from prototype to production
• Contribute to development of custom software components and open-source integration
• Act as a systems integrator to enhance robustness of existing codebase
• Work autonomously to identify and solve problems
• Leverage infrastructure as code to manage cloud resources
