Erias Ventures is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to develop and integrate cloud-based components using AWS, Python or Go, and Linux expertise. The role emphasizes autonomous problem solving, collaboration with architects, and hybrid work in a dynamic team.

The candidate will contribute to cutting-edge Big Data/Cloud projects, with travel to San Antonio and a Columbia, MD presence as needed, supporting robust infrastructure and scalable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in Platform Engineering or Software Development, with related degree.
• Experience building cloud infrastructure and integrating open-source components.
• Strong Linux fundamentals, networking, security, and scripting.
• Proficient in Python or Go and modern CI/CD tooling.
• Ability to work autonomously while aligning with team architecture and goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core cloud architecture for scalable applications.
• Integrate and optimize existing codebase for robustness and performance.
• Manage infrastructure as code and cloud resources.
