Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Systems/Software Testing Engineer II for Cloud and On‑Premise, responsible for end‑to‑end quality validation of Security Director Cloud and On‑Prem deployments, including automation with Python and Playwright. Hybrid work model with ~2 days per week in a HP office; strong AWS, Kubernetes, networking, and security knowledge required to ensure reliability and security across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Relocation support is provided to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Two to four years of hands-on testing networking and security products in cloud/virtualized environments.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols and security mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with UI test automation tools and Playwright.
• Excellent problem solving and Python scripting skills.
• Experience with AWS for deployment, testing, or troubleshooting preferred.
• Certifications in networking or security domains are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Test end-to-end systems built with microservices in Kubernetes in AWS cloud and VMware/KVM.
• Perform browser compatibility and end-user workflow validation across browsers.
• Validate admin workflows, document test scenarios, verify logs.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Python and Playwright; integrate with CI.
