Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a Systems/Software Testing Engineer II to validate cloud and on-premise security management platforms. You will own end-to-end quality for Security Director Cloud and On-Prem, designing tests for microservices in Kubernetes and expanding automation with Python and Playwright.

This hybrid role requires 2 days in an HPE office per week and emphasizes AWS, networking, virtualization, and CI-integrated testing across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Two to four years of hands-on experience testing networking and security products across cloud-based or virtualized environments.
• Strong Python programming and scripting skills for developing and maintaining test automation.
• Hands-on experience using AWS for application deployment, testing, or troubleshooting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test end-to-end systems built with microservices in Kubernetes environments hosted in the AWS public cloud and deployed on VMware and KVM hypervisors.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites using Python and Playwright; analyze failures and improve test reliability.
• Validate administrative workflows and functionality, document test scenarios, and verify logs and system behavior.
