Job summary

GuideWell in the United States is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to design and operate our cloud network foundation during a major migration to AWS and hybrid environments. The role covers both on-prem and cloud workloads, including VPC design, transit architecture, and disaster recovery readiness.

You will implement Terraform-driven network configurations, manage Direct Connect and VPN connectivity, and ensure secure, scalable, multi-region connectivity across partitions and colocation sites.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of networking experience in complex environments.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and on-prem networks.
• Strong routing fundamentals, especially BGP in hybrid setups.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate VPC architecture across a multi-account AWS environment.
• Build and run transit layers using Transit Gateway or Cloud WAN.
• Design and operate hybrid connectivity including Direct Connect and VPN.
• Manage cloud-to-cloud connectivity and DNS (Route 53).
• Plan network cutovers during migrations and validate failover.
