Job summary

AKKODIS is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer for a full-time role in White Plains, NY (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will design and engineer AWS network architectures (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53) and support global operations with secure, scalable networking solutions.

Responsibilities include hybrid connectivity, multi-region disaster recovery, and evaluating emerging technologies. 5+ years in network engineering and Terraform/Git CI/CD experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• 3+ years designing and supporting AWS cloud network architectures.
• Strong command of core networking concepts including WAN, BGP, routing, VPNs, DNS and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Git-based CI/CD for network automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer AWS network architectures supporting global operations, including VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, and load balancing.
• Engineer hybrid connectivity between AWS and corporate locations, including VPN, SD-WAN, and Direct Connect integration.
• Design and support multi-region disaster recovery networking strategies for high availability and resiliency.
• Evaluate emerging networking technologies and recommend improvements to architecture, performance, and cost.
