Job summary

BDP International is seeking an experienced IT AWS Cloud/Systems Administrator to design, implement, and support a hybrid cloud environment spanning AWS and on‑premises data centers. You’ll work with Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and Applications teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud services that align with strategic initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in AWS, strong networking and security knowledge, and IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years designing, implementing, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking, security, and core services
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Experience with multi-account AWS environments (AWS Organizations, AWS SSO)
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
• Experience with VMware, Windows Server, Linux, enterprise networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support AWS infrastructure, networking, and cloud services
• Build and optimize cloud solutions using AWS services (EC2, VPC, ECS, API Gateway, Lambda, S3)
• Support hybrid connectivity between AWS and on-premises environments
• Develop IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Implement cloud security, monitoring, and automation
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with teams to deliver reliable cloud services
