Relativity, a leading legal data intelligence company, seeks an Advanced Software Engineer for the Discovery team to design and operate AI-driven, scalable data-processing systems in a cloud-native environment.

You will work with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and CI/CD to build reliable ingestion and search capabilities, collaborating with architects and product managers to deliver high-quality features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience with distributed systems.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, or Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization.
• Strong design principles and performance optimization understanding.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate distributed search ingestion pipelines using Elasticsearch with ILM and scaling.
• Develop message-based services for high-volume ingestion with robust retries and observability.
• Collaborate to implement cloud-native solutions on Azure using Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Improve reliability with capacity checks, error classification, and automated recovery.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and testing to ensure quality.
• Work with product managers to deliver high-quality features.
