Relativity is a leading legal data intelligence company seeking a Software Engineer for backend systems powering aiR. You will work on multi-region, multi-cloud platforms, handling large-scale AI traffic with reliable orchestration and performance at the core.

You will join a team that builds scalable backend services, collaborates across disciplines, and deploys in Azure, Kubernetes, and cloud-native environments to support secure, high-throughput AI workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
Experience building backend services using C#, Python, or similar.
Understanding of software engineering disciplines and ability to work across multiple layers of the application stack.
Strong foundational knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and backend service design.

Responsibilities

Design and build backend services with a focus on quality and performance.
Collaborate with a software team to deliver reliable systems at scale.
Develop and maintain systems that support high-throughput AI workloads.
Write comprehensive unit and integration tests with thoughtful test strategies.
Improve engineering processes by suggesting tooling and workflow enhancements.
Participate in pair programming to share design and implementation knowledge.
Contribute to routing and managing AI traffic across workloads while ensuring reliability.
