Relativity is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer on the Discovery team to design, build, and operate AI-driven, scalable systems that process large data volumes. You’ll work on cloud-native solutions, contribute to reliability, and collaborate with engineers across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate distributed search ingestion pipelines using Elasticsearch, including ILM and shard capacity planning at scale.
• Develop message-based services for high-volume document ingestion with robust retry policies and observability.
• Partner with architects to deploy cloud-native solutions on Azure using Docker and Kubernetes with modern CI/CD workflows.
• Drive reliability with pre-flight capacity checks, error classification, and automated recovery from failures.
• Contribute to team quality through code reviews, pair programming, and clear technical documentation.
• Champion automated testing, static analysis, observability, and DevOps practices for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality features.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development and reduce boilerplate work.
• Build tools and automation to streamline workflows across engineering disciplines.
