Job summary

ModMed, based in Boca Raton, Florida, seeks a Manager, Cloud Engineering to lead a team of Site Reliability Engineers responsible for the reliability, performance, and scalability of our AWS cloud platform. You will drive adoption of SRE principles, optimize costs, and automate processes across the stack.

You will guide CI/CD with Jenkins, observability with DataDog, Kubernetes orchestration, and IaC with Terraform.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in Site Reliability/Cloud Engineering with 5+ years in leadership.
• Hands-on AWS experience and data-driven performance optimization.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash and IaC tooling (Terraform/Ansible).
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud Engineering team to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud services.
• Develop a roadmap for cloud infrastructure aligned with business goals and SRE best practices.
• Oversee observability using DataDog and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Champion containerization with Kubernetes and cost-conscious engineering.
