Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a cloud architect to design and implement hybrid cloud solutions, integrating on-prem infrastructure with Azure, AWS, or GCP. You will define standards, governance, and migration strategies while ensuring security and cost optimization.

The role requires leadership, collaboration with DevOps, and the ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS as needed. A strong background in electronic security systems and certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, troubleshooting, and testing electronic security systems or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-prem infrastructure with cloud platforms.
• Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance.
• Lead design and implementation of virtual networks and connectivity.
• Manage IAM, IAM, SSO and identity controls.
• Oversee migrations from on-prem to hybrid/cloud environments.
• Ensure security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Optimize workloads for cost, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps to enable CI/CD and IaC.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Evaluate new technologies and strategic adoptions.
• Translate expert knowledge into actionable recommendations.
