Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking a Technology Cloud Security Architect to join its Security team in a hybrid environment. The role emphasizes building secure cloud architectures across major platforms, threat mitigation, and risk reduction while collaborating with cloud architects and security professionals.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of cloud security experience, strong knowledge of Azure and AWS, and familiarity with CSA, NIST CSF, and cyber security best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct applicable experience in cloud architecture security.
• Experience with Azure and AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer information systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive security architecture framework.
• Architect, design, prioritize, coordinate, and communicate security technologies for cloud.
• Perform and participate in risk and security assessments and the security solutions lifecycle.
• Develop incident response strategies and coordinate responses to breaches.
• Provide security guidance across the SDLC, including architectural reviews.
• Contribute to cloud security R&D and evaluate new tools for security capabilities.
• Stay up to date with security trends to enhance the organization’s posture.
