Jacksonville Sinus & Nasal Institute is seeking a dependable Clinical Support Specialist to join a true hybrid role that blends front-office duties with Medical Assistant tasks in a fast-paced ENT clinic in Jacksonville, FL.

The ideal candidate will help with patient check-in, insurance verification, scheduling, rooming patients, basic clinical procedures, and turnover of exam rooms, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate electronic records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant training or certification preferred.
• Front-office healthcare experience preferred.
• Athena and/or Epic experience strongly preferred.
• Strong computer, data-entry, telephone, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
• Willingness to cross-train and adapt to changing practice needs.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check in/out patients and verify demographics and insurance.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments and tests.
• Collect copays and outstanding balances.
• Prepare patients and examination rooms for visits.
• Room patients and document vital signs; assist with procedures.
• Maintain practice systems (Athena, Epic) with accurate records.
• Follow HIPAA and infection-control procedures.
• Support both front-office and clinical staff as needed.
