Job summary

VCU School of Nursing is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support PATH project implementation. You will coordinate day-to-day study activities, maintain regulatory documentation, and support data collection, management, and analysis in collaboration with PI and community partners.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience with human-subjects research, and the ability to engage with academic investigators and community members in a respectful, equitable manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, social sciences, health sciences, psychology, research, or related field, or equivalent.
• Experience with project management, organization, and time management.
• Experience or training in human-subjects research and IRB submissions.
• Experience maintaining study documentation, tracking systems, and research records.
• Clear written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in teams with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate study activities with PI and team per approved protocols.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and audit-ready files.
• Develop project-management systems for timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate IRB submissions, amendments, and continuing reviews.
• Support data collection, management, and analysis, including qualitative work.
