Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy or Pharmacist degree and an active PA pharmacist license.
• Minimum 1 year of non-commercial, specialty, or retail pharmacy experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time-management abilities with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Verifies prescription orders for completeness and clinical appropriateness.
• Communicates with medical providers for order clarification and care coordination.
• Counsels patients on prescribed therapies to improve outcomes.
• Participates in after-hours and on-call prescription order fulfillment.
• Monitors inventories and supplies per policy; supports quality initiatives.
• Supervises staff, including technicians and students, when on site.
