Job summary

RareMed Solutions is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist in Coraopolis, PA. The role focuses on optimizing patient therapy, coordinating with healthcare teams, and supervising pharmacy staff.

The position requires PA licensure, Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent, and at least 1 year in non-commercial, specialty, or retail pharmacy. A hybrid work model is available with on-site requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Registered Pharmacist degree from an ACPE accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist licensure for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• 1 year of non-commercial pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or retail pharmacy experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Verifies prescription drug orders for completeness and clinical appropriateness
• Communicates with medical providers' offices for order clarification and coordination of care
• Communicates with patients regarding prescribed therapies to promote outcomes
• Participates in after-hours and on-call emergency prescription order fulfillment
• Monitors inventories and supplies according to policies
• Identifies and implements quality improvement opportunities in pharmacy services
• Assist in daily data quality control activities
• Assist in running pharmacy daily huddles when required
• Supervise pharmacy staff including rotation students and technicians, and ensure daily operations when on-site
• Foster collaborative internal/external team relationships and promote positivity
• Facilitate cold chain workflows per policies
• Assist with additional projects as assigned
