Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field required.
• Master's degree strongly preferred; combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• 5–8 years in clinical informatics, healthcare operations, or health information technology.
• 1–3 years of experience in a leadership role.
• 1–3 years of experience advising executive leadership and participating in organizational governance structures.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work of Clinical Informaticists, including task assignment, prioritization, and issue resolution.
• Conducts performance check-ins, onboarding, and adherence to standards; ensures deliverables meet quality and documentation expectations.
• Facilitates seamless transitions during technology enhancements, aligning technical solutions with clinical workflows.
• Supports implementation and optimization efforts within assigned scope; identifies risks and adoption issues and escalates as appropriate.
• Serves as a local liaison between clinical users, informatics staff, and IT teams; participates in project meetings and change readiness activities.
• Provides feedback to management on process gaps, training needs, and opportunities for improvement.
