Job summary

Schwab Retirement Plan Services, an affiliate of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., seeks a Client Service Manager to lead retirement plan administration for sponsor clients. You will resolve issues, coordinate across teams, support presentations, and mitigate risks while building strong plan sponsor relationships.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in employer-sponsored retirement plans, strong ERISA knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with employer-sponsored retirement plans.
• Strong analytical thinking applied to ERISA requirements, plan design, compliance and investments.
• Excellent client service mindset and relationship management with sponsors and participants.
• Proven problem-solving ability to identify issues and mitigate risk.
• Effective collaboration and influencing skills across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of roughly 15–20 client relationships.
• Ensure plan administration aligns with provisions and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with partners to resolve client issues and drive outcomes.
• Communicate status and activities to internal teams and clients.
• Support sales efforts and contribute to service improvements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with sponsors and participants.
