Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge client needs with engineering execution. You will gather requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver software that solves business problems, working directly with external stakeholders and executive teams.

The role emphasizes leading workshops and architecture discussions, with travel to client sites as needed. Strong Python and SQL skills and cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, ML Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Experience working directly with external customers to define technical requirements and deliver software.
• Experience leading customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, architecture discussions, or implementation engagements.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL.
• Experience building cloud-native applications, APIs, data pipelines, or AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between external stakeholders and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Lead customer discovery sessions and architecture discussions with executives and technical teams.
• Drive delivery of software solutions that solve real business problems for clients.
• Communicate tradeoffs clearly and travel to customer sites as needed.
