Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to deliver AI-powered solutions within client environments. You will work with senior engineers and consulting leads to implement scalable, production-ready systems for HCLTech Enterprise customers.

Responsibilities include solution delivery, API and model integration, data pipelines, and hands-on engineering using Python/Java/SQL, with cloud platforms for scalable deployments. Strong client-facing collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of client-facing experience in AI implementation or cloud solutions.
• 5+ years programming experience in at least one language (Python/Java/SQL).
• 4+ years in a consulting/advisory role with client delivery.
• Experience with APIs, data pipelines, or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts including LLMs and prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution delivery and build AI-powered solutions in client environments.
• Develop and integrate AI models, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Support end-to-end deployment, testing, and operational handoffs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, platform, and product teams.
• Engage with clients to understand needs and communicate technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to reusable patterns and playbooks.
