Job summary

HouseWorks, LLC is seeking a Client Care Specialist to serve as the primary contact for private pay clients and caregivers in Connecticut. You will build strong client relationships, ensure care needs are met, and coordinate the scheduling of caregivers with efficiency and care.

The role requires compassionate client service, operational efficiency, and proactive communication with clients and caregivers. Hybrid on-site four days per week with one remote day, and a focus on maintaining service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree preferred.
• At least 1 year in home care or healthcare.
• Experience managing client scheduling.
• Strong verbal and written communication across diverse personalities.
• Proficient with EMR, email, and spreadsheets.
• Coaching and leadership skills to motivate field staff.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced tech-driven environment.
• Experience mediating conflicts and resolving concerns.
• Strong organization and time management; flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize client schedules and complete work accurately.
• Coordinate new referrals and staff promptly with leadership.
• Match caregivers to care plans and review details with staff.
• Manage caregiver schedules to reduce overtime and stay within budget.
• Be the first contact for client and caregiver inquiries and resolve issues.
• Escalate unresolved complaints to leadership.
• Document interactions and schedule changes in the EMR.
• Monitor EVV activity to prevent disruptions.
• Assist with recruiting and orientation when needed.
• Provide hands-on assistance in emergent situations.
