Job summary

Civic Works in Baltimore is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to expand solar and energy-efficiency programs across Central Maryland. You will build partnerships, organize events, and drive outreach to diverse communities, with a hybrid work schedule and travel to outreach sites.

The role requires strong communication, CRM experience, and the ability to explain technical information clearly. This position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to advance in the clean energy

Qualifications

• Experience with community outreach, marketing, communications, community organizing, lead generation, sales, fundraising, or other relevant work that engages diverse communities or builds relationships required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with the ability to regularly travel to outreach events across Central Maryland, including Baltimore, Harford, Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, and Howard Counties is required.
• Familiarity with Howard County is preferred.
• Experience with energy efficiency or solar energy is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop partnerships with community organizations to promote energy programs.
• Create referral systems to assist low- and moderate-income clients.
• Organize events, workshops, and presentations for diverse neighborhoods.
• Log partner information into Salesforce and track effectiveness.
• Engage residents at events and educate them about energy programs.
• Assist customers with online intake and maintain accurate Salesforce data.
