Job summary

JCW Group is seeking a temporary Claims Assistant in Rockwood, PA, with a hybrid work setup (4 days in office). The role supports a team of Claims Adjusters across multiple specialties, handling clerical tasks, data entry, and customer communications.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with relevant experience, strong telephone communication skills, and fluency in English; Spanish is a plus. The assignment ends January 31, 2027.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma (or equivalent) and 3 years’ prior relevant work experience; or a vocational or technical education with at least one year of relevant work experience.
• The ability to communicate clearly on the telephone is crucial.
• The ability to read, speak, and write English fluently is required. The ability to read, speak, and write Spanish fluently is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to brokers, claimants, and insureds.
• Maintain data integrity by inputting data and information for new and existing claims.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to ensure a positive experience.
• Review each claim for payment and verify payment information.
• Support claims investigation and processing, including gathering information and assigning adjusters.
