Sentry invites you to join a Claims internship where you’ll work with a mentor to learn the core processes of claims handling and the role they play in the company’s success.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience, engage in meaningful projects, and have opportunities to network with leadership at social events while benefiting from a hybrid work setup and paid housing/parking options where available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or associate degree in Business, Insurance, Communication, or a related field
• Obtain a minimum in‑major GPA of 3.00
• Expected graduation of May 2028
• Obtain required licensing as needed
• Sentry does not offer employment in this position to holders of F‑1, J‑1, and H‑1 Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience

Responsibilities

• Gain hands‑on insight into claims negotiations and settlement processes to help reach fair resolutions for customers.
• Stand by customers during stressful times, guiding them through the claims process with genuine care and understanding.
• Review policy details to accurately verify coverage and policy limits for current customers.
• Dive into the details of a loss by gathering facts and reviewing documentation to understand what happened.
• Maintain clear, thorough records of all investigations, communications, and steps taken throughout the claims process.
