Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster trainee in a hybrid role located in Hudson, Wisconsin. You will learn to help customers get back on the road after an accident, with coaching and teamwork to manage claims from start to finish.

Training covers property damage, contracts, and independent claim adjustments. The schedule is Mon–Fri during training, with hybrid in-office and remote work possibilities for 12 months, followed by meetings and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree OR
• Two years work experience and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims
