Progressive Insurance is seeking a claims adjuster trainee in Milwaukee, WI for a hybrid role. You will learn to determine coverage and liability, interview customers and witnesses, and coordinate with appraisers to manage vehicle repairs.

The program emphasizes hands-on training with coaching from leaders. During training you’ll be paid hourly; after training, salary ranges to $54,000–$57,500 per year with annual gainshare incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Three years of work experience or two years work experience with an associate degree required.
• Hybrid schedule: in-office two days per week, remote/home for the rest.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage.
• Determine liability (who’s at fault).
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses.
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs.
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims.
