Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster trainee in Iowa. You’ll learn to handle the full claims process, with training on property damage and contracts, supported by a collaborative team and leaders. The role is hybrid: two days in‑office chosen by local leadership and three days flexible, for 12 months, with remote options after onboarding.

Starting salary is $54,000–$57,500 per year, paid hourly during training; gainshare bonus up to 16% of eligible earnings and a full benefits package.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree, or two years work experience plus an associate degree, or three years of work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Determine coverage
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims
