Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers in Eugene, OR is seeking civil engineering students for its 2027 Summer Internship Program. The internship runs May–August (or June–September) with hybrid schedule: in-office 3 days per week after onboarding and up to 2 remote days, 40 hours per week.

You'll design and create plans using Civil 3D under the guidance of PEs, EITs, and Civil Designers, participate in intern training, site visits, and learning sessions while gaining hands-on experience on real projects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BSCE program, junior or senior level.
• Available for the full 3-month internship.
• Able to work full-time (40 hours/week, Mon-Fri).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work well both independently and in a team.
• Organized and good at managing time.

Responsibilities

• Design and create civil plans using Civil 3D.
• Perform research and site visits.
• Participate in intern training, learn sessions and vendor events.
• Collaborate with PE’s, EITs, and Civil Designers on real projects.
