Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers in Portland, OR offers a 2027 Summer Internship Program for civil engineering students. You’ll use Civil 3D under the guidance of licensed engineers to design plans, conduct site visits, and perform research.

The internship runs May–August or June–September with flexible school scheduling and a hybrid work setup. You’ll join a collaborative environment, attend training sessions, and gain real project experience while earning $25 per hour and eligible overtime for hours

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BSCE program at the junior or senior level, focusing on civil engineering.
• Available for the full 3-month internship.
• Able to work full-time (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday).
• Pay: $25/hour.

Responsibilities

• Design, create plans using Civil 3D with guidance from PEs, EITs, and Civil Designers.
• Conduct research and head out on site visits as needed.
• Participate in the Intern Training Program and learn from mentors.
