Job summary

One Voice, Inc. in Jackson, MS is seeking a Programs & Civic Engagement Manager to coordinate leadership development, civic engagement programming, and MBLI activities across the state.

You will manage logistics, alumni engagement, statewide meetings, and events, while collaborating with sponsors and partners. Hybrid work with travel.

Ideal for a highly organized professional with strong coordination, relationship-building, and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in program coordination, nonprofit operations, or civic engagement.
• Strong organizational, logistics, and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Comfort coordinating statewide meetings and public-facing events.
• Familiarity with Mississippi's civic or community landscape preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MBLI alumni gatherings, trainings, and convenings.
• Develop and update the MBLI Alumni Manual.
• Manage alumni communications, scheduling, and engagement tracking.
• Coordinate speakers, venues, and materials for MBLI events.
• Support planning and execution of civic engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate statewide meetings, trainings, and community events.
• Document activities and outcomes for reporting.
• Social media owner: capture photos and share with Comms.
• Assistant to Strategic Initiatives Director on other duties.
