Job summary

Arapahoe County Government is seeking a CSE Specialist to move child support cases from establishment to enforcement within a hybrid work model. You will handle intake duties, draft orders, review financials, and coordinate with courts and attorneys to ensure timely support payments.

The role requires strong data interpretation, communication, and compliant handling of sensitive information, with a focus on helping families achieve self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child support laws, rules and regulations.
• Familiarity with court procedures, documents and enforcement methods.
• Experience with ACSES, ICON and related tools is preferred.
• Ability to interpret financial data and establish orders.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview customers to obtain non-custodial parent information and locate assets.
• Explain procedures for establishing paternity and child support orders.
• Prepare stipulations, motions, summons and related documents.
• Assess ability to pay based on CO guidelines and negotiate settlements.
• Enforce orders using available remedies and verify accuracy of ledgers.
• Prepare case files for court hearings and assist attorneys as needed.
• Maintain ACSES and EDMS case information daily.
