• Associate degree required or equivalent experience.
• Three years total education/experience (thirty semester hours equals one year).
• Eighteen months of public contact work in state executive branch.
• One year of work with Child Support Services in state executive branch.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex case management for parents regarding paternity, medical and support establishment, modification, and maintenance of orders.
• Communicates with community partners to achieve Child Support Program goals via phone, email and written correspondence.
• Analyzes complex case situations and legal scenarios to determine actions to establish or modify support.
• Use Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and learn ICAR and other systems.
• Maintain confidentiality as required by the Code of Iowa.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, organization, and communication skills.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and ensure accuracy in calculations and timelines.
