Job summary

Datavant is hiring a Chart Retrieval Specialist for a part-time hybrid role in the Miami metro area. You will visit provider offices to retrieve medical charts, using EMR systems and a Datavant-provided laptop. You will work 20–28 hours per week with a flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a reliable vehicle, and strong customer service skills. Training is provided, and there may be opportunities to travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Availability between 8am-5pm at least three consecutive days per week.
• Must have a reliable, insured personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Reliable internet service and a phone to communicate with remote supervisors.
• Basic computer skills: scan, save, rename files, create folders, upload to secure servers.
• Proven punctuality, reliability, and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and troubleshoot issues.
• Professionalism and business casual attire at all times.

Responsibilities

• Visit provider offices to scan or upload assigned medical chart records using EMR systems and equipment.
• Work an average of 20-28 hours per week with a fluctuating schedule.
• Professionally engage with healthcare providers and provide daily updates to the remote team.
• Manage weekly schedule in Datavant systems; arrive prepared and on time for appointments.
• Use the designated platform to confirm charts, mark as retrieved, and troubleshoot issues.
• Work independently to meet chart retrieval accuracy and efficiency goals.
• Complete end-of-day tasks including logging hours and mileage for reimbursement.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and HIPAA compliance; cross-train as needed.
