Job summary

The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) is seeking a Coordinator of Chapters in Washington, DC. The role provides day-to-day support to ACC’s 60+ local chapters representing over 47,000 in-house counsel worldwide, ensuring smooth operations and collaboration.

Responsibilities include coordinating communications, newsletters, content updates, trainings, and resource sharing, while maintaining chapter websites and databases.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of volunteer coordination or similar experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-service oriented with solutions-focused approach.
• Proficient with MS Office, databases, social media, and event platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to 60+ chapters and reports.
• Serve as first contact for chapter leaders via inbox and calls.
• Update chapter websites and content with leadership and events.
• Coordinate bi-weekly volunteer leader newsletters and announcements.
• Oversee chapter email lists and online forums.
• Assist in chapter leadership trainings and administrators trainings.
• Create member surveys and customized reports.
• Assist in orientation training for chapter admins on ACC tools.
• Moderate discussions and present resources during trainings.
• Coordinate chapter newsletters production and distribution.
