Job summary

Team1Medical, a Reserves Network company, seeks an experienced Certified Coder for outpatient Neurosurgery coding. The role focuses on ICD-10-CM, CPT-4 coding, and modifiers for accurate billing and regulatory compliance.

Candidate should have at least 2 years in outpatient Neurosurgery and E/M coding, with strong communication skills and AHIMA guideline knowledge. This is a hybrid contract role with weekly pay and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Two years outpatient Neurosurgery coding experience required.
• Two years outpatient E/M coding experience required.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Must hold one of CCS/CPC/RHIT/CMC/CCA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assign codes for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures for outpatient encounters.
• Enter ICD-10-CM, CPT-4 codes, and modifiers accurately from clinical documentation.
• Follow AHIMA standards and official coding guidelines.
