Job summary

The Guthrie Clinic is seeking a Centralized Scheduler to provide high-quality patient access and scheduling services. As the first contact, you will handle scheduling, pre-registration, cancellations, and insurance verifications while delivering compassionate service and accurate information.

You will work closely with physician offices, support teams, and patients to ensure smooth operations. A high school diploma is required; prior healthcare or Epic experience is a plus, and strong

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare customer service and scheduling experience preferred.
• Ability to use Windows programs and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduling, pre-registration, and insurance and benefits verification.
• Collect patient payments and manage scheduling tasks efficiently.
• Develop relationships with physician offices and other scheduling areas.
• Assist patients with enrollment in MyChart and educate on features.
• Adhere to policies and achieve productivity and quality goals.
• Use the Epic system and stay current with skills.
