Job summary

Northeast Family Services in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced CBHI Intake Coordinator to manage registrations and admissions across five regions, coordinating with referral sources and maintaining client rosters for waitlist, active, transfer, and discharged clients.

You will verify insurance, schedule appointments, and handle intake paperwork and required clinical documentation, including comprehensive assessments and treatment plans, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Experience working with clients/families with behavioral health needs.
• At least 1 year of patient intake and scheduling experience.
• Familiarity with CBHI performance specifications and payer portals.

Responsibilities

• Manage registration and admissions for five MA regions.
• Coordinate with referral sources through referral, waitlist, and assignment processes.
• Process intake paperwork and required clinical documentation (assessments, treatment plans).
• Verify insurance coverage and schedule clients’ appointments.
