Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Category Manager to develop and execute category strategies that drive sales growth, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience across Applegreen's retail business.

You will manage assortment, pricing, promotions, and vendor partnerships, collaborating with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver data-driven plans and strong supplier relationships. Hybrid work available in Glen Rock, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of retail buying, category management, merchandising, or procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies that support sales growth, margin improvement, and objectives.
• Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and merchandising plans for assigned categories.
• Analyze sales, margin, market, and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Lead annual vendor negotiations and develop joint business plans with suppliers.
• Deliver category forecasts, budgets, and performance reporting.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the Commercial team.
