Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Category Analyst/Manager to support the sales team through high-quality analytics and synthesis of multi-source data. The role emphasizes item performance, assortment planning, and store clustering via a modular process, with strong communication and influencing skills to drive action.

The position is hybrid, with 3 days in the office per week, located in Marlborough, MA. 2+ years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree are required; familiarity with NielsenIQ/Circana

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; related work experience may substitute.
• 2+ years related experience in category management or analytics.
• Advanced proficiency with Windows applications including Excel, PowerPoint, VB and macros.
• Experience with syndicated data and/or space management tools.
• Clear, concise communication and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical insights and recommendations for category management initiatives using retailer POS and Circana/IRI data.
• Utilize Circana (IRI)/NielsenIQ tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Develop category presentations incorporating syndicated data and other sources addressing business issues.
• Collaborate with CPG Category Management and Space Technology teams to ensure quality results.
• Monitor client KPIs, strategies and timelines while leveraging client relationships.
