Job summary

FreedomCare LLC in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Care Support Specialist to assist caregivers and patients, ensuring smooth onboarding, app support, and timely issue resolution. The role blends customer service rigor with tech-enabled workflows in a hybrid setting.

The position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and a patient, empathetic approach as you coordinate with care teams and ensure contractual guidelines are met. Training and career growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume inbound and outbound call environment.
• Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to resolve issues over the telephone.
• Proficient with technology and multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a seamless Welcome and Onboarding process for all Caregivers for cases approved to start on care for the SFC program.
• Create and modify schedules in Freedom Cares’ scheduling application.
• Serve as initial point-of-contact for calls from Caregivers related to App issues.
• Field questions and concerns regarding the processing of Daily Notes.
• Escalate issues identified in the review of Daily Notes.
• Facilitate all Rapid Card processing.
• Respond to Caregiver payment issues or changes related to payment information.
• Process all requests for DME as required by contract.
• Coordinate with Health Coaches to manage in-home visits and caregiver training.
• Provide exceptional customer service and a positive experience for patients and caregivers.
• Regular communication with Case Management agencies regarding authorizations.
