Job summary

FreedomCare is seeking a Care Specialist I in Pennsylvania to deliver high-quality customer service within a busy home-care support office. The role combines in-office days in Harrisburg with remote work, focusing on empathy, active listening, and timely resolutions for patients and caregivers.

You will handle HR-related inquiries, benefits questions, and care program details while maintaining accurate data in our CRM. Training and career development are offered in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Customer Service environment.
• At least 1 year of experience in high-volume inbound call center or contact center environment.
• Experience with CRMs or Workforce Technology – Salesforce, Medflyt, and Verint.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound/outbound service center calls regarding HR inquiries and patient care requests.
• Follow up with patients, caregivers and health plans for time-sensitive inquiries and escalations.
• Input accurate data in CRM and maintain case files with updated information.
• De-escalate dissatisfied callers and provide timely resolutions while meeting SLAs.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure continuous and compliant service delivery.
