FreedomCare is hiring a Care Support Specialist I in Missouri for a hybrid role based in St. Charles. The position involves guiding patients and caregivers, delivering empathic customer service, and ensuring care delivery meets quality standards.

The role requires experience in customer service and call centers, proficiency with CRMs, and strong communication. Benefits include 401k, health/dental/vision/life, and PTO with weekdays 9am–6pm; weekends off.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Customer Service environment.
• 2+ years in a high-volume call center or contact center.
• Experience with CRMs or Workforce Technology (Salesforce, Medflyt, Verint) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high-volume inbound service center calls.
• Follow up with patients, caregivers and health plans for time-sensitive inquiries.
• Maintain exceptional customer service and accurate data entry.
• Conduct wellness reviews over the phone.
• Screen patients and caregivers for additional programs and benefits.
• Maintain reliable schedules with two weeks’ notice.
• Assist with home-care scheduling.
• Communicate clearly, listen actively, and build positive relationships.
• Resolve questions or complaints quickly and meet internal SLAs.
• Update case files in CRMs and manage dashboards.
