Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic Call Handler to join the Community Access Point Call Centre. The role involves responding to and coordinating calls and referrals to ensure timely patient care.

Hybrid work is available, with office-based meetings and training. Previous call centre experience is helpful, and full in-house training is provided to support you in delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
• Able to work in an office environment with a cohesive Call Handling Team.
• Hybrid working model with home/office flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and coordinate calls and electronic referrals from the public, healthcare professionals and other agencies.
• Ensure timely and accurate passage of information to Community Services via the Community Access Point Call Centre using Systm1 and Excel.
• Full in-house training will be provided to support the successful applicant in fulfilling this role.
• Work in a hybrid model with office-based meetings and training when necessary.
