Responsibilities

• Lead piston structural and durability evaluations from problem definition through recommendations.
• Assess piston performance under thermal, mechanical, inertia, and other conditions.
• Use appropriate CAE fidelity for quick screening and high-fidelity analysis.
• Diagnose non-routine issues and suggest practical design improvements.
• Prepare concise analysis reports and decision packages for reviews.
• Develop automation and reusable data workflows with Python/MATLAB/Excel.
• Collaborate with piston, rings, connecting rod, and program teams.
