General Motors Company is seeking a CAE Body Structure Engineer to develop and run analytical models that assess the performance of the vehicle structure. You will build FEA models from CAD data, lead CAE activities, and collaborate with Product Development Teams to ensure design requirements are met and validated.

Hybrid role based in Warren, MI with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. A Bachelor's in engineering and 3+ years of CAE experience are required, including NASTRAN/OPTISTRUCT,

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace engineering required.
• Minimum of 3 years of CAE or structural analysis experience.
• Experience with FEA modeling tools and CAD-to-CAE workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and run analytical models to assess vehicle structure.
• Build FEA models from CAD data and NX.
• Lead CAE activities to meet program milestones.
• Collaborate with Product Development Teams to ensure design requirements.
• Plan tests and validate CAE results against specs.
