Job summary

General Motors is seeking a CAE Engineer to develop integration solutions for vehicle requirements. You will participate in design and peer reviews, follow detailed instructions, and create and manage project plans.

You will document all work and stay ahead of product developments while sharing lessons learned with peers and managers. This role follows GM's hybrid work policy with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, and requires deep knowledge in crashworthiness CAE activities and automotive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 7+ years in CAE/Performance engineering.
• Experience with automotive global regulations and consumer metrics.
• Proficiency with safety CAE tools (LS-DYNA, HyperWorks) and DOE/MDO techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop integration solutions to meet vehicle requirements.
• Participate in design and peer reviews and follow detailed instructions from leaders or peers.
• Create and manage project plans; document all work and report status.
• Stay ahead of current product developments and share lessons learned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field
