Job summary

Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. is seeking a technically strong Business Systems Analyst/Consultant to optimize business systems, turning data into insights through reporting and dashboards.

You will partner with business and technology teams to support system functionality, testing, reporting, process improvements, and new technology implementations. This role may be filled at the Business Systems Analyst II or III level, or Business Systems Consultant I, depending on experience, and requires a

Qualifications

• Strong business systems administration experience, managing system functionality, configurations, data, and user access.
• Excellent data analysis and reporting skills; able to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience with creating and maintaining dashboards using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with system testing, upgrades, and implementations; able to validate requirements and troubleshoot.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work with vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize business systems by managing configurations, data, user access, and system functions.
• Analyze data and develop reporting and dashboards to provide actionable insights for decisions.
• Lead system testing and upgrades with test plans, validating requirements and ensuring successful implementations.
• Partner with business and technology teams to gather requirements and support new technologies.
• Support vendors and technology initiatives through coordination, cost-benefit analysis, and evaluation of capabilities.
