Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking a systems analyst to provide day-to-day procedural guidance for current management and office software applications, and to support new software implementations. You will oversee system utilization, develop and test new features, and maintain data integrity across business systems.

Collaboration with customers, managers, and IT staff will be essential to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more years related work experience.
• Computer Science, Accounting or Auditing experience.
• Insurance industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data, analyzes requirements, and documents specifications for new system processes and enhancements.
• Identifies and researches system problems for root cause. Analyzes and provides sound business solutions.
• Work closely with customers, business managers and application programmers to define future system needs.
• Builds thorough test plans and conducts system tests to verify that the system and screens contain accurate information; identifies and resolves problems where appropriate.
• Reviews and analyzes user requests for business system enhancements. Determining the long and short term impact on workflow, reporting and programming requirements.
• Acts as resource to provide guidance to system users and/or application programmers.
