Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring an Account Manager, Business Insurance to manage a portfolio of commercial lines clients and coordinate with Producers, Underwriters and service teams. You will deliver coverage analyses, risk management recommendations and renewal proposals in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

The role supports continuing education for a P&C license, and MMA offers a hybrid work model with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license
• Experience managing assigned accounts through the client life cycle, including the renewal process
• Strong coverage, underwriting and risk management knowledge
• Effective oral and written communication and relationship building skills are essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to conduct presentations and speak to diverse groups
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as agency management systems and web browser software
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships within your assigned book of accounts and coordinate with Producers, Underwriters, Service Team members and other departments
• Provide coverage analysis and risk management recommendations
• Complete applications and prepare submissions, negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers, and prepare renewal proposals
• Resolve billing issues, process policy changes and respond to policy questions promptly
• Prepare exposure and premium comparisons, renewal reviews and renewal proposals
